About Me
Nancy Tang, MD
After 30 rewarding years as a Pediatrician, I am "embarking" on a new career! My foray into formal dog obedience training started in 1994 with my first Doberman Pinscher. I fell in love with the breed and spent 15 yrs active in Doberman rescue, fostering dozens of homeless and mostly untrained dogs. I currently share my home with my adopted Doberman and 1 service dog in training (Kirby in photo at left).Â
In 2013, I became involved with Veterans Moving Forward, and have raised and trained 2 yellow labs (so far!) to be placed as service dogs with a military veteran in need, at no cost to the
veteran. With this program, I learned the benefits of reward and relationship based dog training.Â
In addition to my background in medicine and dog training, I am a "seasoned" fitness enthusiast, having participated and coached the sport of Triathlon for over 10 years, in association with The Leukemia and Lymphoma's Team in Training program.  Exercise is the fountain of youth, and that holds true for your dog as well. I can help YOU and your dog start on a fitness regimen!
I'd love to share my expertise and love of dogs to help you take the best care of your treasured canine!
